With a hint of Pavement, a sprinkle of Stereolab, a dash of Emily Haines, and bit of Violent Femmes, Little Fevers has been performing for the past 4 years, playing tunes from their debut release Field Trip as well as their 7 inch entitled, Singles. This December, they’ll release their highly-anticipated sophomore record at The Cedar!

Kolyada, an evening bringing together local Eastern European folk ensembles and artists, features Mila Vocal Ensemble, Orkestar Bez Ime, Nomadi, and Peter O’Gorman. The groups will each offer up sacred and secular songs and folklore from Bulgaria, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Turkey, and the Republic of Georgia.

David Archuleta returns to The Cedar for a special Christmas performance. Catapulting to fame at the age of 16 as the runner up on American Idol, David is well-known for his single, “Crush,” and has followed that success up with multiple albums, including two Christmas recordings.

BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon are back in an all new two-queen holiday extravaganza! Rapper/revolutionary Immortal Technique headlines Stop Line 3’s third Water showcase with supporting acts Maria Isa, Muja Messiah, Nataanii Means, Tufawon and DJ Michel Be. Join these artists for a night of resistance raising funds to support the movement to Stop Line 3, a proposed Enbridge tar sands pipeline that threatens the lakes, rivers, and wild life of Northern Minnesota in Ojibwe/Dakota territory.

Her work spans a range of musical genres and has led her to collaborate with artists like Peter Wolf, Mary Gauthier, Chris Smither, Lori McKenna, as well as playing with Jeffrey Foucault and Peter Mulvey as Redbird.

Grammy Award winning violinist, singer, actor, and composer, Lisa Gutkin comes to The Cedar to perform selections from her score of the Tony Award winning, Broadway hit, Indecent. She’ll play those and other tunes, as well, joined by Pat O’Keefe and Spencer Chandler.

Ali Shaheed Muhammed (of A Tribe Called Quest) & Adrian Younge, two of hip-hop’s biggest name composers, bring you a work of orchestral soul, evoking the aura of 1920s Harlem.

Since he first appeared on the scene in the early ’90s, Williams has defined the term independent artist. Keller built his reputation initially on his engaging live performances, no two of which are ever alike. Through Keller’s acoustic guitar and sample-based approach, the music often leans toward a hybrid of alternative folk and groovy electronica, a genre Keller jokingly calls “acoustic dance music.”
